Import/Export Clerk

Job Description

As an Import/Export Clerk, you will assist the Operations Managers in their daily activities with specific reference to the handling, management and organisation of all related import and export documentation. This is a position for which training will be given.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills and telephone handling skills
  • An O Level Standard of Education
  • EDCL Qualification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and  Maltese
  • Be a strong team player
  • A willingness to learn
  • 1-2 years of office experience
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Customer Centred approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without supervision

The following skills would be considered as assets:

  • Knowledge of logistics and transport
  • Proficiency in Italian
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
